We aim to end the grip of poverty
Poverty is a persistent global issue that can be attributed to a multitude of causes encompassing various aspects of individuals’ lives. Factors like lack of education, limited access to healthcare, inadequate job opportunities, systemic inequalities, and social exclusion all contribute to the perpetuation of poverty. Consequently, effectively addressing poverty necessitates a comprehensive and multi-dimensional strategy that targets these underlying factors. In an effort to tackle this complex challenge, the Dedo Integrated Development Association (DIDA) was founded.

DIDA is committed to empowering urban and rural communities in Dedo Woreda by implementing impactful interventions and programs that elevate individuals and families out of poverty, generate employment opportunities, and enhance livelihoods, thereby fostering sustainable transformation for a brighter future.

DIDA also aims to create a nurturing environment for children, to empower youth in economic activities, and support elderly and vulnerable individuals.
